About Our Range
All garments have unfastenable seams. Snap lock button tape makes this possible. Snap lock button tape has been used in preference to other trimmings such as velcro for comfort reasons. The button tape is unlikely to scratch or irritate the skin and does not attract lint in the wash. All garments look 'normal'. That is, you can not tell that our garments are 'adaptive' by just looking at them. Our garments look great! They help people feel better and actually get better.
Phunkee adpatables are useful in many different situations. Some situations for when they may be particularly useful are:
- When a person is unable to move very much or not at all eg. spinal injury, fractures
- When there are intravenous lines inserted, especially a central line
- When carers need to access wounds or dressings easily
Testimonials
“Thank You! My granddaughter was in hospital with severe injuries. Being able to properly dress her in lovely fashionable pyjamas really helped to make her feel better, and I believe helped her to heal faster.”
Elsie Hale - Gladstone
“My father is in a nursing home and prior to me discovering this adaptive clothing range, he was being dressed in a nappy. I thought this was humiliating and degrading for him. Now in the mens adaptive boxers he has regained dignity and feels much happier. The nurses have complimented how easy they are to put on and remove. Thank you Phunkee Adaptables.”
